Python Job: Data Scientist

Just finished getting your degree or are you a beginner data scientist? Do you want to give your career a boost by working for a world market leader in complex and innovative offshore technology?

As Data Scientist you will create predictive algorithms and models from all available data (from the assets (IoT) and business processes), with the help of advanced statistical analysis methods, machine learning and AI techniques. This means you will be working with the newest trends in the data world and are capable of making this your own!

You will determine these models to be feasible, you will create them by using advanced statistical analysis methods, machine learning and AI techniques. If not, you will indicate what knowledge, volume and type of data are needed to create these models. As Data Scientist you will have the freedom to analyze the data independently from the data-driven services and present your findings and ideas to your colleagues.

The Data Scientist we are looking for is an open-minded person who enjoys working in an international environment. Next to that you have:

• A finished Bachelor or master degree, such as business analytics, data science or industrial engineering;
• Proven professional or educational experience with advanced statistical analysis, machine learning and AI;
• Good grasp and handling of R and Python;
• Ability to work in an explorative business environment, where priorities can change quickly;
• Constantly evolving understandings of customers and processes;
• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written), Dutch is a big plus;
• Full eligibility to work in the Netherlands without additional visa requirements.
